John 15:16
In July of 1997, God brought Bro. Ray and his wife, Amy, to First Baptist Church. He grew up in Kingston, OK, and Amy is from Durant. Ray and Amy have one daughter, Traci.
Ray's life verse is John 15:16, and he is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. Among his joys are spending time with his family, bass fishing, and watching baseball and Sooner sports. Ray enjoys reading books about theology and Biblical doctrine. Among his favorite authors are Al Mohler, RC Sproul, John MacArthur, and John Piper. Bro. Ray had the privilege of helping to start a church in Malawi, Africa. He considers Agape Baptist Church in Nsanama to be his "home church".
